Welcome to Ramsay’s Zoo. Do you have any questions? This leaflet may answer them. You can also ask the zookeepers in the green uniforms. They will be happy to answer your questions.
Question: How many types of animals are there in the zoo?
Zoo Staff: The zoo has over 200 types of animals.
Question: Where do you keep them?
Zoo Staff: Most animals live in open places. We try to give them freedom and warmth. Others are indoors.
Question: Who looks after them?
Zoo Staff: The zookeepers. They wash them, feed them and clean their cages. There is also a vet for sick animals.
Question: What do the animals eat?
Zoo Staff: The zookeepers feed each animal different types of food. Sometimes, you can feed them yourself. See the notice board at the entrance for more details.
Question: What special activities are there for children?
Zoo Staff: The children’s zoo is next to the lion enclosure. Children can pet small animals, ride ponies and feed farm animals. We also have a train ride. There is a guided tour around the zoo.
