I’ve got some great news. We got the contract for the Indian documentary about the Bombay film industry (Bollywood). I’ve been on the phone all morning and I have to pack this afternoon. I’m writing in order to get your advice.
The health department recommends taking malaria tablets, but I’ve heard there may be some side effects. Did you take them last time? Also, I’ve been given a company credit card, but don’t know when to use it. Is there a company policy? Steve told me I need to take some cash in American dollars. Is that necessary? What do you think? Is there anything else I’ve forgotten?

I’m very happy to hear you got the contract. It sounds like you’ve been pretty busy.
The malaria tablets can have some side effects, but you should take them. Also, I suggest sleeping with a mosquito net so that you don’t get bitten at night.
Contact the company immediately about the credit card. As some places do not accept credit cards, take American dollars. You may have to change money at a bank or hotel. Also, take a good sun hat so you won’t get burnt. You’ll be filming outside a lot. A colleague of mine got a sunburn because he forgot his hat. By the way, I’ve got a good friend working in films in Bombay. I’ll give you his address so you can visit him.
