Brian: Hello, is that you, Monica?
Monica: Yes, Brian! How are you?
Brian: Very busy. Right now I’m writing up some reports. Listen: How’s the farm? Are you having a good time?
Monica: It’s great to be back in the countryside, Brian. It’s a pity that you’re not here. Mom is cooking hamburgers on the barbecue, and dad is making the potato salad.
Brian: Are the Lintons there?
Monica: Yes, all of them! Alissa and Mark are setting the tables, and Laura is playing the guitar.
I’m so glad to be out of the city. Maybe you can get a couple of days off?
Brian: I’m working on a new contract at the moment, but I’ll try.
Monica: I hope so. We’re all having such a great time, make an effort to get here.
