Nel caso dei verbi regolari, invece, il passato si forma aggiungendo il suffisso -ed all’infìnito del verbo senza to. Per la forma negativa e interrogativa si ricorre alla forma passata dell’ausiliare do, cioè did, e si seguono le stesse costruzioni già viste per il presente:
